redo please...or "let go laughing"

so i would say i am a pretty upbeat person...most of the time. i'm a big fan of whatever...blah blah blah...and who cares...but today is really testing me.

• dear anonymous #1: caring denotes action...the end.
• dear anonymous #2: i like my life, stop trying to bring me down because YOU aren't happy...p.s. happy people don't have to tell everyone constantly how HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY they are. 
• dear anonymous #3: please STOP clipping your nails in your cube.  it's GROSS!  
• dear anonymous #4: "i like talking about you you you you usually...but occasionally i wanna talk about me."
• dear mobile marketers:  please stop texting me at 6:00 in the AM.  that makes me NOT want to shop at your store.
• dear apple: please explain why once every two weeks all my data gets deleted from my phone and i lose purchases and all my contacts....ugh?!?!?!
• dear premier car wash on montague: "thanks" for scratching my car today when you washed it...thanks alot.... 
• and last but not least...dear barry zito: you suck!  

but hey, at the end of the day what can ya do...pshhhh....IT HAPPENS :)

i absolutely love this edwina hayes song.  sometimes music just speaks to your soul and the first time i heard this that's exactly how i felt.  i immediately had to find out who it was.  i have listened to this song hundreds of times and it is one of the most moving things i have ever heard.  just wanted to share...

writing...

i always thought that i would write a book some day.  and someone reminded me recently that to be a writer you actually have to write.  what a novel idea! (no pun intended)  

i don't know what my book will be about, but i still believe i have it in me.  i even have the dedication all planned out and promised since freshman year (to sam...because i said i would).

currently writing is just cathartic.  the following quote from ernest hemingway really spoke to me yesterday, so i'm working it out.

"there is nothing to writing. all you do is sit down in front of a typewriter and bleed."  and i was always told to "write what you know"...so i am...... 

 

change is a good thing...change is a good thing...change is a good thing...

...or so i keep telling myself....whenever i get comfortable life has a way of throwing me a curve ball and mixing things up a bit.  the last month has been a roller coaster of uncertainty and i've been trying not to focus on what may come.

i've heard "hope for the best but prepare for the worst and  keep calm and carry on" and i've been chanting the serenity prayer intermittently in my head.  but whatever happens it will be okay.  and even if some things don't change it has still inspired me to do some things differently and not be stagnant and complacent.  so in that regard change actually has been a good thing.

intention vs. action

so i started this blog with the intention to write an entry a day....um yea...that was never going to happen....says the person who discovered this draft TWO years later...

but (action) i am going to try this again with the intent to post at least one blog a week...so away we go...again :)
